Jodi may also been seen performing in musical theater productions throughout the south shore. She has recently performed in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and as Martha Jefferson in 1776,  both with the Mansfield Music and Arts Society. The cast of 1776 had the honor of performing at the Massachusettes State House in the Summer of 2010. She has also starred as Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance with the Hanson Community Theatre. She is currently working with Fiddlehead Theater in another production of The Pirates of Penzance.

Besides performing Jodi also teaches music in the Whitman-Hanson School system. She is the general music and chorus teacher for kindergarten through grade five at Maquan and Indian Head Schools. Jodi is also the vocal director and conductor of musical theater productions at the Whitman-Hanson High School.

Jodi’s love of music and singing began at an early age. As far back as she can remember she has always loved to sing. She began voice and piano studies at the age of fifteen. It was at that point that she knew she wanted music to be a part of her life professionally. When she entered Gordon College Jodi studied classical voice training with Gale Fuller. As she studied classical music, which consisted of art songs, arias, and many choral works, her musical tastes began to expand.

Her love of music and its many genres continued to grow as she began working with her father-in-law, guitarist, Richard Mulcahy and more recently Cellist Paul Sullivan. Together, they perform an eclectic style of music including classical, jazz, cabaret, and folk. They have performed several concerts at the Plymouth Art Guild’s Center for the Arts in Plymouth, Massachusetts and the surrounding area.
